Transforming History
From an industrial past to a creative future! Nestled in Brooklyn’s Gowanus neighborhood, a former metal foundry has undergone a remarkable transformation.
A modern twist of mass timber insertion contrasts beautifully with the old, creating bright, interconnected spaces. The highlight? A gantry crane, which was cleverly used to slide new cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor panels atop a network of glulam beams and columns.
