The house under the trees
The challenge for the architects when designing this superb residence high up in the mountains and surrounded by rocks was making it fit into the environment visually while preserving the natural ecosystem around it.
The two-story building has a glulam structure with high, open ceilings. Note how the beams have been cut to support the roof overhangs. This provides extra durability.
