Daniel-Lauzon Ice Rink

This impressive structure measuring 115ft by 203ft (35m by 62m) provides perfect protection to this gathering space all year round. For the municipality of Mont-Tremblant, this infrastructure serves as an adaptation measure to climate change while also providing optimal lighting for evening activities.

The Art Massif design structure was carried out through a design-build approach involving architects, engineering firm, and contractors. The 315mm x 1249mm arches consist of 3 segments supporting precast panels manufactured in the factory. The discreetly designed connections are manufactured to withstand the calculated loads based on significant snowfall in this region.
