Metis Beach School
For this school extension project, the architects chose a glued-laminated timber structure for the cafeteria area. It is composed of steel-wood hybrid trusses with glulam decking. The wood structure is in perfect harmony with the stunning view of the St. Lawrence River through the glass wall.
